Dr Andrew Human ceo - the loerie awards Andrew studied materials science and has a doctorate in engineering. An Internet pioneer, he ran the digital agency Grey Matter and worked for the then largest digital media company - marchFirst in New York City, where he worked with major brands like Audi and Mercedes Benz. Lisa Taylor MD, NCS Colour Lisa Taylor has always been passionate about colour. She lives by the codes of good design and represents a combination of scientific fact and tangible artistic knowledge – a role which in 1999 got her appointed by NCS Stockholm Sweden as the sole distributor for Southern Africa (SADC) and most African regions. NCS was then made the South African Colour Standard in 2004 - see SANS 1091 - 2004. Lisa advises local corporate leaders, institutions and professional design practitioners about the power and significance of colour. Expounding the logic and accuracy of the Natural Colour System across the business landscape, she is almost single handedly changing the way South Africans think about colour and colour specification with more than 1760 students having passed through the NCS Colour workshops since 2000. |

Julian Dall Digital Illustration and Retouching 15 years ago Julian made the transition from airbrush, board and ink to the digital medium and has never looked back. After graduating from The Johannesburg College of Art he has worked in a number of ad agencies, before going freelance and concentrating on illustration and retouching. He produces illustrations for a wide variety of clients such as ad agencies, design studio's,authors, publishers and companies. Most of his work is produced in Photoshop followed by illustrator and dabbles in Painter and Strata 3D. |
